At Celebrate the Occasion (CTO) this week it is all about thank you cards, using a punch. So as I mentioned in the first post. Dust those punches off and put them to use this week. Our first challenge was to create a card using "Just My Style." For instance my style is Clean and Simple with a touch of elegance. So what is your style?

This card was created with Ticket Talk another one of Mary's great stamp sets. When I saw this particular stamp I immediately thought of using the Love Struck cartridge because of these lips (lol). I thought it was a perfect match.

Can you believe it Digital Software for Scrapbooking. I have tried several over the years and I have not found any that that is this easy to use. Here is my first post using My Memories software. It was fun and easy to figure out. You have your choice of font, word art, size, embellishments, background papers, you can even choose other LO designs online and there is a lot more. When I saw the words "Bad Influence" I just knew that I had to use a digi and I had to use a Kenny K one. I also knew what colors I was going to use. She had to look the part didn't she?
With the MAG challenges I think it is believed that you are stuck with using just what the Cricut creates from that particular page, but you are able to use other embellishments including Digital stamps, Spellbinders, Cuttlebug. Hello Everyone!

I just want to thank everyone for the well wishes! Adrian and I are fast approaching our 1st year blog anniversary and we want to do give-away's and just share this fun time saying we appreciate you! This year has truly been a learning experience. I have learned for sure there is definitely a lot of talent in the blogging world. I thank you for sharing that talent with me. You help me become a better cardmaker/crafter.

I made this card with Everyday Cricut. I made a blue Gypsy! I know, I know there are no blue jackets or blue gypsy's, but a girl can dream can't she? As I mentioned before I love the color blue. This card definitely speaks for me. I love my gypsy. I don't know how I ever crafted without it (lol).

Well, yesterday Adrian of by Adrian 4 U showed out with her digi card (You Go Girl!!!). It is so much fun having a Partner in Crafting! It just adds so much fun to card making/crafting. Dilsaver Design's Challenge!

Thanks for stopping by. A couple of weeks ago my blogging friend Lucianna of Dilsaver Designs issued a challenge to anyone who was willing to learn how to color digi's. This talented lady not only created the digi for all of us, but made 4 videos introducing the techniques to coloring. If you have time you should check it out. Lucianna's May 22nd post has a supply list for anyone who wants to participate. There is still time to join in with us. Then after coloring we are to link our projects on her blog. I was excited because after visiting the various blogs where these digi's are displayed I was definitely wanting to learn something new, and to be introduced to another way of coloring. Dad's Day Invites!

I was invited by the creative ladies over at Decorate to Celebrate to come up with something that can be used for a party and it had to be created with the "theme" Father's Day well the first thing that came to my mind was invitations. A party doesn't/or can't begin without them. It all starts at the invitation and you want the right one.

I got the idea for this invite from a Stampin' Up Demonstrator--Tami. here is her video

Tami made these cards and I liked them but they were just a little too big for what I wanted so I adjusted the size. I added a tie to make it look like a dress shirt.

Most older men and women are finding themselves retiring from one place and seeking employment somewhere else.
